In which a young first term mayor by the name of Pete Buttigieg, who is tasked with revitalizing his hometown, graciously stewards an equally young photographer with 50 year old cameras around. If memory serves, Pete drove Peter around in his slightly messy, unremarkable, likely reliable grey (or was it beige) Japanese sedan. A Corolla, or an Accord perhaps. The thing is, my memory is only reliably limited to what is on film, and I don't have the car on film.
Featuring - in addition to Mayor Pete standing in many places around town - the old Studebaker factory, downtown South Bend, Union Station transforming into a data center, closed down rail lines, the St. Joseph River and the campus of Notre Dame.
